Steve’s practice area is primarily in admiralty and maritime litigation and business transactions. He participates in difficult investigations of marine casualties involving collisions, allisions, groundings and strandings, as well as marine personal injury and death claims involving passengers, seamen, longshoremen, repairmen and other maritime workers.

Mr. Galati also handles marine business and commercial transactions and litigation as well as prosecuting and defending claims involving oil and chemical spills, U.S. Coast Guard license and other administrative actions and proceedings.

Trained as a merchant mariner, Steve has his Third Mate’s license, unlimited, and is a Lieutenant USNR.
