Immigration Law
Our immigration lawyers have experience in all areas of
immigration law including non-immigrant visas, employment and family based
immigration, naturalization, and relief from deportation, exclusion, and
removal.
There are three broad areas of immigration law we assist clients: business
and student areas; family reunification; and litigation.
A. Business and Student Immigration
We provide services for business and corporate clients who
need international personal actions including non-immigrant visa applications
such H-1B (workers in specialty occupations), H-2B (temporary work), H-3 (trainees),
L-1 (intra company transferees), E1/E2 (treaty trader/treaty investor), and
B-1 (temporary business) visas.
We also have experience in handling the intricate area of visas needed by
institutions. Visas for nurses (H-1A), physicians (H-1B), students and
exchange program participants (F, J, and M),
professors and scholars (J), and religious workers (R), all have particulars
requirements, benefits, and potential pitfalls. Our attorneys can guide
you through the complex maze surrounding these various visas, counseling you
on the appropriate application for your institutional needs.
B. Family Reunification
The other side of immigration is the process of family
reunification. Immigration in America
has always been personified by the individual who comes to this country
striving to attain the American dream. When hard work and diligence
allows the individual to begin to realize that dream, our lawyers can help
obtain an immigrant visa or adjust status to that of a permanent resident of
the United States.
Our lawyers can also work to reunite families separated when one family
member is in America
and others are in foreign lands.
C. Litigation
When difficulties with the Immigration and Naturalization
Service occurs our attorneys can help resolve those issues and navigate the
possible avenues of relief. We have experience in obtaining waivers of
removability, cancellation of removal, as well asylum relief and relief under
the United Nations Convention Against Torture. We have experience with
administrative hearings before the Immigration and Naturalization Service and
in all courts from which appeals of Immigration and Naturalization decisions
may be taken.
