ROBERT W. WEIDNER
Bob concentrates his practice in all phases of environmental law, with particular emphasis in the negotiation and implementation of environmental provisions of commercial contracts. He has also participated in numerous complex environmental and commercial cases requiring a strong understanding and appreciation of the interplay between modern environmental statutes and regulations and the common law remedies available in cases involving pollution claims. In his work, Mr. Weidner combines his experience in structuring transactions to properly address environmental concerns with his experience in superfund litigation and disputes resolution of environmental claims by governmental agencies. He has hands-on experience in environmental investigations, compliance audits and counseling, and was instrumental in the successful preparation and acceptance of a hazardous waste facility closure and post-closure plan, as well as work in the preparation and review of corrective action and remedial action plans, and preparation of specialized contracts for the delivery of environmental consulting services. He is also one of the authors of the Pennsylvania Environmental Law Handbook. This combined experience permits Mr. Weidner to provide sound advice and counsel to the firm’s environmental, business and commercial clients. |
