Andrew concentrates his practice in the field of admiralty law, primarily in defense of personal injury and death claims involving merchant seamen, passengers, longshoremen and harbor workers. He has extensive experience in the investigation of maritime claims, and is also involved in general litigation, including defense of product liability, premises liability and negligence claims, as well as contract and construction matters. He completed a specialized program in litigation and received a degree in trial advocacy from the Temple University School of Law in 1994.

Andrew is a former mariner and officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve who attained his Second Assistant Marine Engineer’s license and served aboard various U.S. merchant vessels before pursuing shoreside employment. He has a graduate degree in business administration, and spent ten years as a Project Engineer and Project Manager in the construction industry for a major mechanical construction firm. While so employed, he attended law school at night, and then began the practice of law in 1981. Mr. Quinn has been active in the local maritime community and has served as a director of the National Alumni Association for the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. He brings a unique blend of practical maritime and business experience to the practice of law.
