Jamie joined the firm as an associate in 2018 to focus on general litigation involving admiralty, maritime, and transportation matters. He is also involved in a variety of other civil litigation matters.
Before joining the firm, Jamie worked primarily on admiralty, transportation, and maritime workers’ compensation cases in Virginia. There he advised and represented a variety of clients in the transportation industry including shipbuilders, logistics companies, and vessel owners and operators.
Jamie was raised in Newport News, Virginia, a shipbuilding city in the state’s Tidewater region.
He graduated from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2015, where he was an Associate Managing Editor for the International Law Review Association. He received his LL.M. in Admiralty from Tulane University Law School in 2016 after completing a course of study that covered nearly all aspects of maritime law.
