Ms. Parker's practice primarily involves workers' compensation matters, including claims under the Longshore and Harborworkers' Compensation Act. For the past three years, she has represented the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and several of its agencies and departments, in defending workers' compensation claims through the Commonwealth's third party claims administrator. In this practice she has appeared before numerous workers' compensation judges in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and has handled appeals to the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board and the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. She is recognized as a leading practitioner in the field. In addition, Ms. Parker handles general litigation matters. She has successfully litigated cases in numerous administrative proceedings, and in the courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Ms. Parker is active on numerous bar association committees, including the Women in the Profession and the Minority Bar Committees. Ms. Parker is an Associate Editor of The Philadelphia Bar Reporter. Ms. Parker has written numerous articles for various publications and she helps coordinate the firm's publication program.
